Sweet little restaurant in the style of a Mountain Lodge. Good food and drinks, and an open fire as well

Highly dissapointed. The atmosphere made me feel uncomfortable , needless to mention zero politness and willingness of staff. Visited for a couple of times to give it a second thought, each time the same disgusting experience.

Waiter came to my table for the first time after good 15minutes, a while after other guests arrived (probably forgot about me, although he noticed me at the entrance when welcoming me with "only front terrace is opened today". Then the coffee arrived quickly, although without any water, at price you would pay in Vienna city centre (not Bratislava outside of centre). At this prices, I would appreciate little bit more attention to customers as a standard.

Nice restuarant and friendly, English speaking staff. Portions were on the small side. Unfortunately all desserts were sold out. Someone should fire the planner...

Everything is great, except the music. I suggest to subscribe to Spotify instead of playing cheap radio music ;)

Very nice, original Slovak food close to Kamzík, so in a nice area. They are also dog friendly and have some very interesting vegetarian options like strudel with spinach. It's not cheap though and some waiters are a bit arrogant.

Very nice food, staff sometimes kind, sometimes not so. A bit expensive compered to other restaurants in this area. Good location in heart of Bratislava's forests.

Visit Bratislava ... Eat Apple Stroodel. The menu here is very sophisticated. The outside terrace is delightful. The various flavours of strudel are just divine.

We enjoyed a good authentic meal of Slovak food here. The patio is lovely and service was good with English speaking waiters. We missed breakfast as it is only from 8-10:30 (on a Sunday.) For some reason Google shows they are “cash only” so we came prepared but they do accept credit cards. There is a nice trail that starts from the restaurant and goes into the giant city park. We really enjoyed that as well. I highly recommend this place!

Good value for money even though I would have expected much more on strudels given the name of the restaurant. Stroodel is indeed nothing special. Nice location and lots of parking spaces. Busy at week ends.

This restaurant is like rotten apple. Looks nice from the outside (including interior and food serving) but the service - waiters and barists are totally useless ... to be waiter is a mission not a job to be learnt. They are just bringing and taking away stuff totally soulles...

Wasn't blown away. It was ok food. Didn't have the strudel as they dont have a lactose free option.

We have been there for more than 30 minutes. No waiters came to our table to take our order.

This restaurant offers a great view of the main city of Slovakia and is located near other historical places in Bratislava so you can connect this restaurants' visit with seeing other interesting places in this city, if you're a tourist. The food here tastes amazingly perfect, the personal is very friendly and the prizes are affordable. I love eating lunch here together with my family. Highly recommended 👍👍

Very good food, but the prices are really high for the location

All fine, but what really stood out was the "black cherry & poppy seed stroodel" (cake) - there was like 95% poppy seed, which is exceptional (and delicious). The apple one was good too.Not sure if they have English menus though.

the price is reasonable given the locality, staff not very friendly, we waited too long for everything - e. g. 22 minutes for 2 teas and 1 kofola, they didn't have meal from daily special
